As a Scientist and Registered Nutritionist, I am passionate about simplifying the science and cutting through the confusion about what healthy living really means.
I accurately convey and advocate proven and up-to-date nutrition information, but working as a Nutritionist is more than just having nutrition knowledge from a University course or the latest study.
I assist people to understand where they want to be in terms of their health, to uncover any underlying issues relating to why these outcomes are not yet being achieved and to devise life strategies that enable and sustain these desired health outcomes.
I promote a positive enthusiasm for enjoying plenty of nutritious and balanced food, and work to affect sustainable change for everyday people, groups and companies in the real world.
There really is no one answer- what works for one person and their circumstances (genetics, environment, work and family life) may not necessarily be ideal for the next person.
I don’t like to put a label on the way I choose to live my life through what I eat and how I choose to be active, and so as a nutrition professional I offer the same;
simply evidence-based, sustainable life strategies to practically apply everyday, independent from over-hyped, fanatical diets and trends.
The key for enduring change is to empower the individual with evolving knowledge and self-awareness, to ensure that they have the confidence and the skills to build their own healthy lifestyle.
Balanced. Sustainable. Accessible. Evidence-based. Individualised.
